[Priority for Waseda University students, faculty and staff] Announcement regarding recruitment of earthquake reconstruction aid volunteers for the Great East Japan Earthquake

Many people require help in areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
WAVOC has already deployed students to Ishinomaki City in Miyagi Prefecture and Tanohata Village in Iwate Prefecture.
In Ishinomaki City, volunteers cleared debris and shoveled mud. In Tanohata Village, volunteers used water to wash photographs found in disaster areas and cleaned tourist spots. WAVOC will continue to contribute to reconstruction in disaster areas through various forms of aid and volunteer activities.
