Video messgae at UN-STI Forum

As the side event of UN's first annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals held at the NY headquarters, THE INAUGURAL AGORA: TRANSFORMING THE WORLD THROUGH SUSTAINABLE ENERGY FOR ALL: LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND showed a video message from Chuo University.

During this meeting, members from the UN membership nations, UN organizations, educational institutions, academia, industries, and representatives from various communitiets participated in two panel sessions. Chuo University participated from Japan, taking this opportunitiy to share Chuo's globally recognized research and education for UN's 2030 Agenda (SDGs) at Chuo's Faculty of Science and Engineering.

In the video message, Professor Mariko Matsunaga and her research group at Chuo's Faculty of Science and Engineering expressed her passion for energy research towards attaining a sustainable society. The message was shown during the first panel discussion and received many applauses in the end. Her Royal Highness Princess Dr. Nisreen El-Hashemite, Chairman of the meeting, gave a high recognition for Chuo's research activities.
