Principal Purevsuren Naranbayar of Shine Mongol School

Principal Purevsuren Naranbayar of Shine Mongol School and Head of the Center for Career Development of New Mongol Academy Chie Imai visited Chuo University’s Tama Campus on March 22, 2016 and met with Chuo’s Vice President and Director of International Center Chikako Takeishi.

Shine Mongol School, located in Ulaanbaatar and is a part of New Mongol Academy along with New Mongol Technique and Engineering College as well as New Mongol Institute of Technology, and was founded in 2010, with the support of donations from Japanese sponsors, as an elementary, middle and high school operating under the Japanese educational system. With a focus especially on Japanese education, the School boasts the most number of students studying abroad under the government scholarship program. The 16 exchange students who have been selected to study in Japan in April 2016 were all from New Mongol Academy. The exchange students will pursue their education in the humanities or sciences areas in universities in Japan, as well as Colleges of the National Institute of Technology and other professional institutions.

Chuo University has been building relations with universities and institutions in Mongolia over the years. Chuo’s Vice President Takeishi has also visited New Mongol Academy in October 2015 to celebrate their 15th anniversary. During the meeting this time, Chuo’s staff from the Admissions Office and International Center also participated to discuss further network building between the two institutions.
