The academic journal Science announced 347 people who were chosen in the annual selection of “AAAS Fellows” on November 27.
Among those, Masaaki Haga (Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University) was chosen as one of 2015 AAAS Fellows in the chemistry section. This selection recognizes Professor Haga’s contribution in inorganic nano-complex chemistry.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is the world’s largest nonprofit scientific organization which published the academic journal Science, proposes scientific policies, hosts international academic conferences, and conducts scientific educational activities.

The award ceremony is scheduled for February 13, 2016 at the 2016 AAAS Annual Meeting to be held in Washington D.C.
