Sussex delegates in Chuo

On November 19, delegates from the University of Sussex visited Chuo University’s Tama Campus. Chuo’s Vice President, Director of International Center and Professor of Commerce Chikako Takeishi, Associate Director of International Center and Professor of Law Stephen Hesse, and Advisor to the President and Professor of Commerce Keiko Masuda welcomed the guests from the University of Sussex including Professor of Geomorphology Cherith Moses in charge of promoting exchange students, Head of International Programmes (Sussex Abroad) Emily Sinclair, and International Partnerships Officer (International Office) Georgie Chesman.

Chuo University signed a partnership agreement with the University of Sussex this year, and has welcomed exchange students starting September. We will also plan to have students from Chuo studying at the University of Sussex next year (application from December 1 to 3).

During the meeting both universities discussed further possibilities about joint degree and dual degree programs, and faculty exchange opportunities. We look forward to working together for further exchanges and networking.
