Chuo University participated in the NAFSA 2015 Annual Conference & Expo in Boston, Massachusetts, from May 24 to May 29. NAFSA is a non-profit organization established in 1948 in America that promotes international education and exchange. This year marked the largest NAFSA event so far, as there were more than 100 countries and 10,000 people who attended the event. There were 64 institutions and organizations from Japan that participated in the Study in Japan booth, which also set a record from past years. Representatives from participating institutions came together to network with each other.
There were many people from different institutions visiting the Chuo University booth to discuss possibilities for partnership and various exchange opportunities. With our partner institutions, we were able to share experiences of international students as well as their development during study abroad, and expressed appreciation for the support offered to the students. There were many constructive talks for further development and stronger ties with other participating universities.
