Cooperation Talks with Leicester

On Friday, May 29, 2015, Chuo University’s Tama campus welcomed President Paul Boyle and guests from the University of Leicester. Currently a partnership agreement is underway between Chuo and Leicester. Together with President Boyle, Director of Strategic Partnerships International Office Michael Green, and Professor Toru Suzuki from Leicester visited Chuo’s President Shozaburo Sakai, and held a friendly meeting including Vice President Toshikazu Kato and Dean of Law Faculty Yasuyo Nakajima.

Both universities shared their plans in hopes to develop more exchange in the future. Following speeches by Chuo’s Vice President Kato and Leicester’s President Boyle, professors from Chuo’s Law and Letters Faculties gave a presentation and explained our current international exchange programs. There was an active discussion about working together to possibly start a double degree program.
