The 5th International Week!

Chuo is happy to announce the fifth International Week this year with a focus on ASEAN (Thailand and Vietnam), commemorating the 40th anniversary of friendly cooperative relations between ASEAN and Japan.
The countries Thailand and Vietnam were mainly selected as the theme of this year’s International Week for realizing the first Global Chuo Symposium held in Bangkok in May as a milestone for globalizing Chuo, in addition to the 40th anniversary of Japan and Vietnam diplomatic ties.

Beginning in 2011, International Week offers various events focusing on a certain country, region, or international organization every year, with the aim of promoting the internationalization of Chuo and motivating the students’ intellectual curiosity.
The events will include speeches by Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, and Do Van Trung, Counsellor of Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Japan, as well as a symposium focusing on the “ASEAN Economic Community” which will be founded in 2015.
There are many other events free of charge open for all audiences.

The event schedule will be updated on the English website soon.
We look forward to seeing you at Chuo University Tama Campus!
