Song K. Choi, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering, University of Hawaii at Manoa, visited the Chuo Korakuen Campus on November 4, following the previous visit to UHM by Professor Kazuo Kashiyama of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Assistant Dean Choi visited the Kunii and Hashimoto Laboratories in the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Communication Engineering, and the Toi Laboratory in the Department of Precision Mechanics.
Both parties exchanged positive views for further ties between researchers at Chuo and UHM, and discussed specific milestones towards the planning of a summer program targeting science and engineering students.
