The initiatives of Chuo along with the UN Academic Impact roundtable meeting in Tokyo were introduced in the UN Academic Impact Newsletter.
Chuo, a UN Academic Impact member, has long been actively promoting education for women. At the second International Day of Girl Child, Chuo emphasized its commitment to providing sustainable education to women.
Also On 18 October 2013, the UN information Centre in Tokyo organized a round table meeting with UNAI Japan members. They were briefed by Maher Nasser, Director of DPI’s Outreach Division, on UNAI’s global strategies, best practices and upcoming events. Mr. Nasser also discussed the diverse activities carried out by UNAI members, including those in Japan.
