On the final day of track and field, at the 27th Universiade held in Kazan, Russia beginning July 6, Shota Iizuka (4th year Faculty of Law) won silver medal in men’s 4 x 100R, and Jun Kimura (4th year Faculty of Law) came in fifth place in men’s 4 x 400R.

At the individual races, Iizuka also won the bronze medal, and Kimura proceeded to the semi-finals.
