Graduate Wins Table Tennis at Universiade

The 27th Universiade is being held in Kazan, Russia from July 6.
On July 12, the women’s table tennis team finals was held and Japan beat Taiwan 3-0.
The team included player Riyo Nemoto, alumni, Juroku Bank, coached by Miho Hamada, alumni, Kochi University of Technology.
Nemoto also won the bronze medal at the women’s table tennis doubles semi-finals.

At the Kanto Students’ Table Tennis Tournament, Eriko Kitaoka, 4th year Faculty of Letters, and Natsumi Matsumura, 4th year Faculty of Law won the women’s doubles game. The pair was also coached by Miho Hamada.

In women’s singles, Matsumura advanced to best 10, and Mitsuki Tada, 3rd year Faculty of Commerce entered best 13.
