Manami Kira, 4th Year Faculty of Commerce, won the Silver Medal in the 400m hurdles at the 20th Asian Athletics Championships which was held in Pune, India, from Wednesday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 7th.

Kira succeeded in winning the medals despite physical challenges from the drastic climate difference in India.

Sota Kawatsura, a graduate of Chuo, also won 2nd place as anchor of the Japan team at the 4 x 100m relay.
