Lacrosse Wins Asia Pacific Championships

Tetsuya Ozawa (3rd year Faculty of Commerce) and Hiroshi Nakazawa (4th year Faculty of Letters), as representatives of the Japan U22 men’s lacrosse team, played a part in Japan’s outstanding victory in the 6th APLU Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championships.

Unbeaten in the 8 team round-robin (China, Japan U22, Australia U23, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, US West Coast selection (USA Starz)), Japan advanced to the final. In the final against Australia, both Ozawa and Nakazawa contributed to the victory by scoring two goals each.
