[Skating Club] Kanto Collegiate Ice Hockey Championships

Our ice hockey team brilliantly won the Chichibunomiya-hai 61st Kanto Collegiate Ice Hockey Championships Group A held from April 6th to 29th. It is our first victory at these championships.

We faced Meiji University, carrying the pride of back-to-back inter-collegiate titles, in the final. Chuo went ahead at the very end of the first period with Shogo Nakajima slamming the puck into the net. Going into the second and third periods, we continued with forceful play, not giving an inch on both offence and defense, and Chuo held on to capture its first title.

Next season, we will be playing in the Kanto collegiate league. We hope for your continuing support.
