Student Wins a Bronze Medal in Swimming

The 2012 Tokyo FINA/AREANA Swimming World Cup was held in Tatsumi International Swimming Center on November 6 and 7. At this event, Masako Kuroki (1st year student in the Faculty of Letters) of the Swimming Club took third place in the 50m butterfly and won the bronze medal. At this event, at which many veteran swimmers from around the world participated (including those who took part in the London Olympics), in addition to Kuroki who took third place to become number one in Japan, there were five other Swimming Club members who took part and performed well.
