Associate Professor Awarded the Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection

The Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection Fall Lecture Conference was held on October 23. This was a ceremony for the 60th anniversary since the founding of the society. At this event, Akio Yonezu, who is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering (Department of Precision Mechanics), was awarded the 60th Anniversary Best Paper Award. The Japan Society for Non-Destructive Inspection is an organization which has a little under 4,000 regular members and is this year celebrating its 60th anniversary since being founded in 1952. This Anniversary Best Paper Award was selected from papers over a ten year period since the 50th anniversary of the society.
