Shooting Victory for Women

The All-Japan Women's Collegiate Rifle Championship was held at the Saitama Prefecture Nagatoro Shooting Range from October 11th (Thurs.) to 14th (Sun.). The Chuo University Marksmanship Club totaled 2,855 points as they won the overall championship, their first in 5 years.

Ayano Shimizu (4th year student in the Faculty of Commerce), Miki Shindo (3rd year student in the Faculty of Commerce) and Mayu Koizumi (2nd year student in the Faculty of Commerce) participated in the group competition.

Also, Ayano won her second consecutive overall victory in the women's small-bore three-position division. Mayu finished 6th overall.

The club will next compete in the All-Japan Rifle Marksmanship Championship.

Please cheer on the Marksmanship Club so that they can give their best performance at the upcoming event.
