The Japanese national team won its second consecutive victory at the 16th Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship which was held in Urmia (Iran) from September 27th (Thurs.) to October 5th (Fri.). Masahiro Sekita (1st year student in the Faculty of Law; setter) and Takahiko Imamura (1st year student in the Faculty of Law; wing spiker) of the Chuo University Volleyball Team participated and played well. Masahiro served as team captain and captured the MVP award.
