Student Wins Rifle Shooting Championships

At the 8th Japan Student Selection Rifle Shooting Championships and World University Shooting Selection Championships Dispatch Athlete Selection Meeting held on July 7th and 8th, Rifle Club member Ayano Shimizu (4th year student in the Faculty of Commerce) won by getting a score of 494.3 out of a total of 509 points in 10mS40W (10m standing shooting with 40 shots). (Venue: Osaka Prefectural Nose Town National Memorial Sports Rifle Shooting Range)
Moreover, Mayu Koizumi (2nd year student in the Faculty of Commerce) also came in third with a score of 491.3 points.
From mid-September, the Kanto Student Rifle Shooting Championship Fall Meeting will be held.
