At the 8^th Japan Student Selection Rifle Shooting Championships and World University Shooting Selection Championships Dispatch Athlete Selection Meeting held on July 7^th and 8^th, Rifle Club member Ayano Shimizu (4^th year student in the Faculty of Commerce) won by getting a score of 494.3 out of a total of 509 points in 10mS40W (10m standing shooting with 40 shots). (Venue: Osaka Prefectural Nose Town National Memorial Sports Rifle Shooting Range)
Moreover, Mayu Koizumi (2^nd year student in the Faculty of Commerce) also came in third with a score of 491.3 points.
From mid-September, the Kanto Student Rifle Shooting Championship Fall Meeting will be held.
