Student Wins the Women's Slalom
At the 2012 All Japan Student Snowboarding Championships, held at Kurumayama Kogen in Nagano Prefecture on March 16, Akari Shitaka of the University's Physical Education League's Ski Club (3rd year student in the Faculty of Letters) won the women's slalom.
Selections for the All Japan Team for Snowboarding will be held in April and Ms. Shitaka is expected to participate.
