Students win skiing events at the 27th Intercollegiate Alpine Championships

Members of the Ski Team of the Physical Education League, Chuo University Association of Student Clubs, Yuma Shinohara (1st year student in the Faculty of Law) and Shinya Miyamoto (1st year student in the Faculty of Law) won the men's giant slalom and men's slalom respectively at the 27th All-Japan Collegiate Alpine Championships (sponsored by the Intercollegiate Ski Association of Japan; an official race of the FIS). The championships were held from January 3rd to 9th at Shiga Highlands in Yama-no-Uchi, Nagano Prefecture.

January 6th: Yuma Shinohara (1st year student in the Faculty of Law)-Men's giant slalom: 1st place

January 7th: Shinya Miyamoto (1st year student in the Faculty of Law)-Men's slalom: 1st place

The Chuo University Ski Team will compete in the 85th Intercollegiate Skiing Championships which will be held from February 21st to 29th in Shizukuishi Town and Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture.
