The 24th All-Japan Female Student Rifle Shooting Championships were held in the Nose-cho National Athletic Meet Memorial Sports Center Rifle Shooting Range in Osaka from October 7th to 10th. At this event, Ms. Ayano Shimizu (3rd year student in the Faculty of Commerce), who is a member of Shooting Club, Association of Student Club Physical Education League, Chuo University, won two events. She won the 50m rifle three positions women's competition and the 50m rifle prone position women's competition.

Ms. Shimizu is also a member of this year's All-Japan Rifle Team and is aiming to compete at the London Olympics in 2012.
