Baseball's Hirokazu Sawamura (4th year student of the Faculty of Commerce) selected by the Yomiuri Giants in the first round of the pro baseball draft.
Hirokazu Sawamura (4th year student of the Faculty of Commerce) of the baseball team of Physical Education League, Association of Student Clubs, Chuo University, was picked by the Yomiuri Giants in the first round of the pro baseball draft held on October 28.
Sawamura, a leading strong-armed pitcher in the Tohto University Baseball League to which Chuo University belongs, fired a student record 157kmph pitch at Jingu Stadium in May this year.
