Program Outline

In today's international affairs, a dark shadow has fallen upon environmental issues, food issues and energy issues. A keyword in common with all these issues is water. A rash of natural disasters and damage originate from water, and coupled with climate change and water pollution on a global scale, solving these has become a matter of vital importance.

In Chuo University International Water Environment Science and Engineering Personnel Training Program for graduate school students, international students, we have developed and implemented, in cooperation with local and foreign universities, research institutions and businesses, a unique curriculum designed to raise water environment / water treatment technicians as highly specialized workers with an international outlook respecting the history, culture and climate of each country, in addition to becoming familiar with the climate of Japan's business world and administration, as well as the advantages of these.

Through this, in relation to the water environment in the world's regions, including East Asia, we can nurture international personnel able to propose and implement general and drastic improvements, and support sustainable development for the world.
