Baseball's Hirokazu Sawamura (4th year student at the Faculty of Commerce) and Seiya Inoue (3rd year student at the Faculty of Commerce) Selected to Represent Japan at the 5th World University Baseball Championship

Hirokazu Sawamura (4th year student at the Faculty of Commerce) and Seiya Inoue (3rd year student at the Faculty of Commerce) have been chosen to represent Japan at the 5th World University Baseball Championship, Sawamura as the pitcher (uniform number 18) and Inoue as the infielder (uniform number 2). They are both members of Chuo baseball team.

Sawamura and Inoue are not only our ace pitcher and cleanup batter, but also renowned as a leading strong-armed pitcher and longball hitter in the Tohto University Baseball League.

In this year's spring league, Sawamura was selected as the most outstanding pitcher and Inoue was chosen to the Best Nine (1st baseman).

We hope you will all support the efforts of our ace pitcher and cleanup batter.
