We will hold the symposium commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War titled “War and Chuo University” on Wednesday, October 21. This year 2015 marks not only the 70th anniversary of the end of the war, but also the 130th anniversary of the establishment of Chuo University. On October 21, which falls on the date of “the Send-off Party for Student Soldiers” in 1943, we will hold the symposium “War and Chuo University” on the Tama Campus, to review the war period and Chuo University and then pass the outcome down the generations. We hope that many people will attend this event.
