People who passed the 2014 CPA Examination

Students from the Waseda University Graduate School of Accountancy comprise about 40%

On November 14, 2014, the Certified Public Accountants and Auditing Oversight Board announced examinees who passed the 2014 CPA Examination (essay examination). 53* of the exam passers were graduates or current students of the Waseda University Graduate School of Accountancy (maximum enrollment of 100 students). Graduates and current students from the Graduate School of Accountancy comprised about 40% of all graduates and current students of professional accounting schools who passed the essay examination.

Since its founding, the Graduate School of Accountancy has cultivated accounting specialists who possess an accounting mindset and the ability to put their knowledge into practice. The school seeks to instill students with knowledge spanning from fundamental topics to advanced aspects, as well as the ability to apply what they have learned. To achieve this goal, the school provides a systematic program based on the concept of “Accounting + 1 (Plus One).” Inspired by success in the recent examination, the school will work even harder to cultivate more outstanding professionals.
