On May 10th and 11th, the “Spring Study Abroad Fair” and “Short-term Study Abroad Program during Summer” were held by Center for International Education. At the event, staff from the top level partner schools from Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia, representatives from Embassies, public educational institutions, our teachers who are responsible for study abroad program in the undergraduate and graduate schools, and study abroad advisors gathered and provided presentations and individual consultations.

Because the entire programs of Waseda University have been making efforts to cultivate global leaders who would contribute to solving global issues, the importance of studying abroad is widely recognized by our students. Therefore, the number of visitors to the fair has been increasing even in the last few years when introverted tendency among young people were talked about. At the fair of this year, an event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of agreement with Great Lakes Colleges Association/Associated Colleges of the Midwest also took place. The fair had more than 2,700 visitors and ended with great success.
