Grand “Spring Volunteer Fair 2013”

Students crowded the Masaru Ibuka Auditorium.

The Hirayama Ikuo Volunteer Center (WAVOC), which offers classes and projects with key words of “social contribution” and “experimental learning”, organized the “Spring Volunteer Fair – we take action, and the world changes” on April 26th. The Fair welcomed approximately 800 visitors.

The Fair is operated by volunteer students. During the event, students discussed and explored what they can do in great details. About 30 groups of WAVOC official projects overseas and within Japan had booths. The event was very vibrant throughout the day, as they called for the visitors to participate in their activities and conducted presentation contests with a theme of “social issues identified through volunteer activities”.
