300 people attend a university-wide information session on Waseda Vision 150

Vice-President Hashimoto explains about “Waseda Vision 150”

On December 10th, Waseda University held an information session on “Waseda Vision 150,” a mid-and-long-term plan focusing on our school’s 150th anniversary in 2032. An overview of reforms was explained by President Kaoru Kamata, Vice-President Shuji Hashimoto and Vice-President Satoshi Shimizu. They also answered questions from the audience. Approximately 300 people attended the session including Waseda faculty, staff, and students, as well as ordinary citizens and faculty/staff from other universities. Everyone listened attentively to the reforms being enacted by Waseda University. Also attending the session was Nobuyuki Idei, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who acted as a representative of alumni when expressing his expectations for the reforms.
