Hazard Touch: Effective software for individuals who have repeatedly caused traffic accidents

A research group at the Faculty of Human Sciences led by Assistant Professor Kan Shimazaki has developed the software Hazard Touch for drivers. This software uses a tablet computer (iPad©) and is effective at preventing traffic accidents. The software is distributed for free at AppStore©.

It has been demonstrated that test subjects using Hazard Touch are able to discover possible collisions quickly in terms of both time and sequence. By improving the rate of discovery on actual roads, the software aims to prevent traffic accidents.

Caution points are displayed at the end of the session
