On May 25th, the finals of "The 1st Waseda University-Korea University Global Presentation Competition" were held at Ono Memorial Auditorium through cooperation with Korea University (Korea). The competition was held to strengthen the English presentation skills of students, to increase student awareness as global leaders, and to enhance international cooperation between our university and Korea University.

The theme of the competition was "Issue on Globalization in Asia." Students from each university formed teams and selected their own sub-theme from fields such as education, politics, economics, art, culture, science and technology. A total of 47 teams entered the competition. At the finals, the 6 participating teams overcame their nervousness to give passionate and dynamic presentations. At the awards ceremony, the top 3 teams were presented with award certificates in the name of the Presidents of each university.

Despite being the first ever such competition, the level of presentations was very high. As the competition continues in the future, we hope to heighten the level even further and to establish an authoritative competition.
