Uniformed display styles

New campus information maps.

The uniform display style

In our quest to form a field environment which enables gathering of students and local citizens, our university is developing a campus which is linked with the local community.

Our university is visited by an extremely large number of people, including current students, parents and alumni. In order to convey a unified image of our university, the UI (University Identity) System was created in 2007, which was the 125th anniversary of our university's founding. This system is used in campus information maps which are part of a Campus Sign Plan that calls for sequential installation of guidance. In this way, we are working to create an open campus which is easier for visitors to understand.

By unifying the display styles used, the Campus Sign Plan will eliminate inconvenience caused by different campus information maps, guidance signs and building signs which were used on each campus.
