2010 award recipients finalized

Okuma Memorial Academic Prize Ceremony held

With an aim to promote the arts and sciences, this university established the Okuma Memorial Academic Prize in 1958. The Okuma Academic Commemorative Prize is awarded to faculty members whose research achievements have been recognized as distinguished and have greatly contributed to progress in academic studies. This academic year's awards ceremony was held on November 11, 2010, with this year's recipients along with 2009 winner, former President and Professor Emeritus Katsuhiko Shirai, receiving their main prizes and supplementary prizes from President Kamata.
