Recognition for research that contributes to expanded and improved research in business administration and commerce

The Japan Society of Business Administration (JSBA) has established the "Japan Society of Business Administration Award" (JSBA Award) in order to give broad recognition to achievements of outstanding books or theses, as selected by members of the JSBA. This year, Professor Makoto Fujita of the Faculty of Commerce was presented with the JSBA Award in the book division for his work "Organizational Approach on Valuation" (Chuokeizai-Sha).

The JSBA consists of approximately 2,200 members, including a large number of Professors and graduate students from Waseda University.
