1/4

Gakushuin University’s new “Faculty of International Social Studies (Provisional Name)”, is scheduled to open its doors in April 2016. Faculty members from overseas, who have “seen the world,” will play critical roles in the program. The faculty will focus on “practical English education” in order to cultivate people who can make a broad contributions to international society. As part of this goal, the Faculty will also require students to study abroad as part of the course of study. Three professors from overseas who will join the Faculty of International Social Studies (Provisional Name) discussed ways of surviving in the global age. This issue features an interview with those four faculty members.

※The plan of the new faculty is pending government’s approval. The name of the faculty and curriculum are subject to change.
