On Thursday, March 19, 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Chuo and University of Yangon in Myanmar. The signing ceremony was attended by Chuo’s Vice President and Director of Chuo’s International Center Chikako Takeishi, Law Professor and Associate Director of International Center Stephen Hesse, and Law Professor Andrew Barfield. Students from Professor Barfield’s class plan to visit Myanmar this summer. We look forward to the beginning of practical and collaborative education between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony was interviewed by the Myanmar International TV Channel, which is the national English TV network in Myanmar.
